Regional & National Grades

A Silver medal for Freya Wood at National Grade 5 rounded off a successful Regional Womens' Artistic Grades held in Guildford. Freya will now be part of the South East team representing the region at the National Finals being held in Birmingham at the end of April. Freya's performances on vault and bars also gave her top scores on these two pieces.

Team-mate Elly Wilson took 6^th place and a place in the 'line-up' at National Grade 7. Elly's performance on vault gave her a top score on this piece.

Medals were also awarded to gymnasts who achieved the top scores on the 'Range and Conditioning' at the higher National levels. Freya and Elly put in brilliant performances and both won Gold Medals at their respective levels.

National Grade 8 saw Heidi Chapman finish in 11^th place with the second highest score on vault at this level. A 5^th place with a second place on beam saw Leanne Conway in the 'line up' for competitors in Regional Grade 12.

Regional Grade 13 saw good passes for Morgan Williams, Hollie Buttifint and Olivia Mincher, with Morgan taking second place on Bars. The Regional Grade 14 saw Natalia Squire gain a Distinction. Natalia made the 'line up' in overall 6^th place taking a first place on 'Range and Conditioning'. With over 60 gymnasts in this group a 13^th place for Katie Roy and 15th place for Chloe Paulding were also brilliant results.
