Regional Championships
The Sports Acro Regional Championships took place in Sittingbourne.
Four pairs from Deal competed with Sian Davies & Megan Bruton becoming Regional Champions in the Grade 2 Womens’ Pairs. Sian & Megan have trained and competed together for two years but will now both become part of two new trios and two new pairs competing for Deal.
The same competition saw team-mates Natasha Ponsford & Jenny Walker finish in 5th place. This was Natasha’s last competition as she will now be assisting as a Sports Acro Coach before moving to Spain.
The club’s second two Sports Acro pairs competed in the Grade 1 Womens’ Pairs with Mica Pinfold & Ashleigh Heath finishing in 4th taking and Abby Heath & Katie Walker finishing in 14th place.
Congratulations must go to Sian and Megan on their achievement and their coaches Carole Stone and Tracey Morris.
