Kent County Bars and Beam

Deal's Level 5 girls competed well in the opening round with Holly Bevan making the line-up in 5th position, and Niamh Hough and Ellie Meindl finishing in 7th and 8th place respectively in the 'In-Age' competition. Also competing at Level 5, in the 9 year age group, Libby Greenfield won the bronze medal, with Georgia Reynolds finishing in 5th position.

 The Level 14 gymnasts, some of them competing these pieces for the very first time, did really well. Both Rosie Meindl (In-Age) and Emma De Kort Settle (8 year age group) became Kent champions, with Kaitlin Crocker (In-Age) and Jazmine Wratten (8 year age group) gaining a silver medal.

 Hannah Scrivens, Grace Eggleston and Poppy Joannides took the gold, silver and bronze medal respectively in the In-Age Level 4 competition, and Katie Roy won the bronze medal in the 10/11 year age group.

The final round of the day saw Freya Wood and Heidi Chapman compete at the 'Challenge' level. Freya became Kent champion and Heidi, successfully competing her tuck back somersault on beam for the first time, finished in 4th position.
