Kent County Championships
Louise Orchard became Senior Challenge Champion at the Women’s Artistic County Championships held recently in Maidstone and continued her undefeated first placing on Asymmetric bars.
The Espoir Challenge saw a Bronze medal for Freya Wood who, at 12 years old, was one of the youngest competitors at this level. Teammate Ellie Wilson followed Freya into fourth place with a first position for her vault.
A Silver medal at Level 4 was a brilliant result for the club’s Heidi Chapman who also finished first on beam and floor.
The final medal of the County Championships went to Leanne Conway who won the Bronze in the 9 years old Level 5 competition.
The ‘In Age’ Level 5 saw a fourth place for Morgan Williams with a first place on Bars & Floor. Teammate Olivia Mincher finished in a good 11th place.
The newly introduced Level 14 for gymnasts just starting out on the competitive circuit saw a place in the line up for Katie Roy in 6th place with teammates Natalia Squire and Chloe Paulding finishing in 10th and 11th place respectively.
