The Meapa Gymnastics Club provided the venue for the Artistic Squad’s first competition before a period of hard training to upgrade their moves. These gymnasts will have to perfect new moves as the level of gymnastics moves into a new era after the Olympics in Beijing. 

The youngest gymnasts of the day did incredibly well in their first ever team competition. Hollie Buttifint and Olivia Mincher took the bronze medal at Level 6 with Katie Roy and Natalia Squire finishing close behind in fourth place. 

Heidi Chapman entered the individual Level 4, four-piece competition and finished in equal gold medal position. 

After a hard fought competition the Senior Challenge team of Louise Orchard and Freya Wood finished in a good silver medal position and a bronze medal for Naomi Snelson in the individual Junior Challenge finished off a good competition for the Deal gymnasts.
