South East Regional Championships
Members of the Womens Artistic squad travelled to Guildford to compete at the South East Regional Championships. Heidi Chapman finished in Bronze Medal position securing a place in the team representing the South East Region at the National finals to be held in November. Heidi also took first place on the Asymmetric Bars and second position on floor, and with a combined total score of 44.725 narrowly missed out on a silver medal by 0.025
Freya Wood competed in the Espoir Challenge finishing in 5th place, with a second place on the Asymmetric Bars. Freya has been selected to represent Kent as part of the team competing at the annual ‘Rosebowl’ competition to be held in Aldershot in October.
The ‘In Age’ Level 5 competition saw Katie Roy and Natalia Squire finish in 14th and 15th place respectively. With an entry of 34 gymnasts competing at this level this was a good result for the duo. Morgan Williams finished in 14th place in the 'In Age' Level 4 group and Leanne Conway 13th in the Level 4 '10 years' age group.
