Kent County Womens Artistic Twin Piece Competition

The Centre once again played host  to the Kent Gymnastics Association, who are still without a venue to host County competitions. With more than a hundred gymnasts from clubs all over Kent taking part in the Womens Artistic Annual Twin Piece Competition it was a busy, but enjoyable day.

The first round of the day was successful for our gymnasts in the Level 14 category, with Holly Beven and Ellie Meindl taking a BRONZE medal and teammates, Niamh Hough and Libby Greenfield finishing in the line up in 5^th place.

Round two, produced the club's first GOLD medal of the day which was won by the team of Katie Roy and Grace Eggleston, with teammates Poppy Joannides and Natalia Squire in the line up in 6^th place. With 17 teams competing in this level the duo of Georgia Reynolds and Hannah Scrivens did well finishing in the top 10.

The last round of the day was again a triumph for the Deal gymnasts with Heidi Chapman and Freya Wood winning the GOLD medal in the Junior Challenge.
